Neetpick

Neetpick is a watch tracker for series, movies and anime. It remembers exactly which episode you stopped on and tells you when the next one airs. We took it end to end: naming and brand, product design, the web app, the native mobile apps, the backend and the marketing site. It shipped first as Save My TV Time and was renamed Neetpick once the product found its own voice.

People watch more than ever and remember less of it. A season drops, you get four episodes in, and three weeks later you have no idea whether you finished it. Anime makes it worse: most trackers file it under TV shows or skip it, and movies are an afterthought. The few tools that handle all three tend to put stats and reminders behind a yearly subscription.

We wanted one place where series, movies and anime are all first-class, the next episode is always one tap away, and the basics are not gated. The closure of TV Time in July 2026 added a wave of people looking for exactly that.

A full product across three platforms, shipped from a single codebase:

• One-tap episode tracking: mark an episode watched, and the app queues what comes next across series, movies and anime.
• New-episode reminders: an in-app inbox plus mobile push when a show you follow airs, with an Upcoming tab for the week ahead.
• History import: upload a TV Time data export and we map your shows, episodes, ratings, reactions and lists into your account, so nobody starts from zero.
• Reactions, ratings and a social layer: emotion reactions per episode, half-star series scores, follows, comments and one-tap comment translation.
• Where to watch and rich stats: every title page names the streaming service, and time-watched stats are free instead of gated.

Under the hood: a Turborepo monorepo with a Next.js web app and marketing site, native iOS and Android apps built with Expo, a realtime Convex backend, Clerk auth, catalog data from TheTVDB, and EU-hosted analytics.

• Live on the web with accounts, import and the full tracking, social and stats feature set.
• iOS and Android submitted and in store review, built from the same codebase as the web app.
• Acquisition shipped with the product: guides, comparison pages and streaming pages went live on day one, so search traffic lands on an answer instead of a signup wall.

Neetpick is the most recent product we shipped and the one moving fastest. The web app is open to everyone and the mobile apps are next out of the gate.
